A man accused of threatening a mass shooting at the Golden Knights Stanley Cup final game appeared in court Tuesday morning. During the hearing, Judge Joseph Sciscento ordered Matthew DeSavio to stay in custody without bail.

The man accused of killing his girlfriend earlier this month and then turning himself in days later appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom on Tuesday. Israel Zamora, 23, communicated with Judge Joseph Sciscento via a sign language interpreter during his initial appearance.

“Sir do you have a copy of the criminal complaint that was filed against you?” asks Judge Joe Sciscento. “Yes, sir,” says Bennett.

Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joseph Sciscento asked the defendant if she understood what it meant to waive her right to the hearing — at which the judge would evaluate whether there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial.

Months ago, when Agerbeek was struggling through the program, the judge promised her a special treat if she graduated. He agreed to let her throw the cake in his face.
